often的英语用法

①often放在行为动词之前，特殊动词be，情态动词之后

例：She is often late for work.她经常上班迟到。

They often go to cinema together.他们经常一起去电影院。

You must often conme to see her.你要经常来看她。

②often放在句末用来加强语气

例：You won't see me often.你不会经常看到我的。

He writes to me often.他常常给我写信。

③often放在句首时表示强调

例句：Often did we warn him not to do so. 我曾常常警告他不要那样做。

④与will连用表示将来惯常的行为:

We will often help the old men next year.明年我们将经常帮助这个老人。

They will often come here next week.下周他们打算经常来这里。

与情态动词would连用，表示过去惯常的行为:

When we were childen we would often stay up all night.我们当孩子时经常通宵不睡。

⑤often作频率副词，用于一般现在时

例：He often watches TV in the morning.(一般现在时)他经常早上上看电视。

I often go to the library on Sundays.我经常星期天去图书馆。

often后接动词过去式用于一般过去时

例：I often went the zoo on weekends.我过去经常周末去动物园。

He often went the library on weekends.他过去经常周末去图书馆。

Jim often got up early last year.吉姆去年经常早起床。

⑥often用于一般将来时

例：I will often go to see her next year.我明年会经常去看她的。

We will often help the old men next year.明年我们会经常帮助这个老人。
