I always hear about my friends’ complaining, they say their income is such low that they can’t not make ends meet. At first, I would pity for them, but in the long run, I find their work is so easy, they just sit in the office from 9 am to 5 pm, they even don’t need to go out for business. While I see another friend, he works so hard, his working hour is very unstable, sometimes he even works until 9 pm. The fact is that he earns the most between my friends. It is true that no pain, no gain, if people want more, they need to pay out more. Comparing to be envy about other people’s great income, we’d better to work hard to realize what we want. There is not short-cut for people to get successful, working hard is the only way.

我总是听到朋友们的抱怨，他们说收入太少了，以至于无法收支平衡。刚开始，我会为他们感到遗憾，但是长期下来，我发现他们的工作很轻松，他们在办公室里朝九晚五地坐着，甚至不需要外出跑业务。然而我看到了另外一个朋友，他很努力工作，工作时间不稳定，有时候甚至于工作到晚上九点。事实上，他是我朋友之中赚得最多的。没有付出，就没有收获， 确实如此，如果人们想要更多，需要付出更多。与其羡慕别人的高收入，不如努力工作来实现我们想要的。成功没有捷径，努力工作是唯一的方法。

In China, there is an old saying that one’s hair and skin is given by his parents, so there no right for him to change his skin. But as the development of the high technology, more and more people choose to take the plastic surgery to make them look more perfect. Many years ago, plastic surgery was very popular in Korea, as the influence of the Korean TV series, Chinese people start to accept the plastic surgery. Though people can make themselves look more beautiful, I don’t support for the plastic surgery. People will hurt themselves, they don’t know the risk that they may face. What’s more, after the surgery, there is always side effect, which hunts people all the time. For the normal people, there is no need to change their faces, the real beauty is from the soul, while the surgery can’t change the people’s soul.

在中国，有句古老的方言，一个人的发肤授之父母，所以他没有权利去改变发肤。但是随着高科技的发展，越来越多的人选择整容手术，以此来让自己看起来更加的完美。很多年以前，整容手术在韩国很流行，随着韩剧的影响，中国人也接受了整容手术。虽然人们能让自己看起来更加的漂亮，但是我不支持整容手术。人们会伤害到自己，他们不知道自己可能要面临的风险。而且，手术过后，总会有副作用，并且伴随人的一生。对于普通人来说，没有必要去改变面容，真正的美丽是从心底散发出来，然而手术却无法改变人们的心灵。

Since we go to school, we have to learn English, it has been one of the main subjects. As we have learned English for a very long time, we will complain about it, we always make the joke that the foreigners should learn Chinese. Now, it is not the joke anymore, the world’s watching China, more and more foreign people are interested in Chinese, they have learned Chinese. When we open the TV, we can find that a hot show called Chinese Bridge, it is a competition for the foreign students to show their Chinese. I have seen the show, I was very impressed, the foreign students spoke Chinese so well, they knew our culture, they had enthusiasm, which made them enjoy learning Chinese. We should learn from the foreign students, they show us the way to learn a language well.

很长一段时间，总会抱怨，我们会开玩笑说老外应该学习中文。如今，这不再是个玩笑了，全世界都在关注中国，越来越多的外国人对中文感兴趣，他们已经开始学习中文。当我们打开电视，可以发现一档热门的节目叫“汉语桥”，这是给外国学生展示汉语的竞赛节目。我看过节目，印象深刻，外国学生能把汉语讲得很好，我们了解我们的文化，有热情，这使得他们乐于学习汉语。我们应该向外国学生学习，他们给我们展示了学好一门语言的方法。
